What does a Book Designer do?

A book designer will be working with the author and the publisher (NRP) to create a visually pleasing and inviting exterior (Book Cover) for a book. The author will share her vision with the designer who will then work with the vision to create the exterior design.

The exterior design of a book includes the front cover, back cover and spine. The design must effectively represent the book's content and genre to attract readers and contribute to the book's success.

Designing a Book Cover involves selecting appropriate fonts, colors, pictures, and the layout.
