Week 3 “ROUGH Draft” FREE Aspiring Author Seminar!

Week 3 Assignment

1. The proper and easiest way to write a ROUGH draft is to just start writing it down, telling the story with no punctuation.

Don't worry about your spelling. Just get your thoughts written down.

Don't think about paragraphs. Just let it run on and on and fill the paper so your only thought is getting your thoughts and your story written down.

TESTIMONY

The most incredible example of how this worked and the tremendous confirmation that this works is when my DIL asked me about helping her mom with her "book." She told me that for several days, all her mom could do was write down everything that happened to her when she was a little girl. Then, she shared the Google documents (see, it was a true confirmation). What I witnessed was just pages and pages of writing. No punctuation, no paragraphs whatsoever.

So I explained to my DIL that her mom had done all the hard part, and I would walk her through the rest—which is what I will explain in week 4.

Don't expect to get all your chapters on your list in a rough draft, this is an exercise of how to write a book. Sometimes, He leads me to write a rough draft for up to six chapters at a time. Sometimes it's just one.

Again, working with Him will make it enjoyable, and you'll begin to experience more than you ever dreamed.

💗 “Now praise to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, ever imagine, dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.” Ephesians 3:20

Week 2 Assignment

Brainstorm ASK HIM. Ask Him to remind you of different "stories" like events, funny stories, vacations, things that you and your family love talking about, and then list them.If you're writing an RJN, ask Him to remind you of heartbreaking events and then list them as you remember them.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE ORDER

Your book doesn't necessarily need to be in chronological order, in order of when they happened. Often, it's more interesting if you vary the order. What's fun and exciting, often with me, as I'm concluding a chapter, just in the rough draft (which is next week's assignment), He'll remind me of something that becomes the next chapter. Sometimes it's in my brainstorm list, other times it's not.

Then, under each prospective chapter, begin to type the story (voice typing is wonderful, so ask Him and try it). Just type the story as if you are sending a quick set of texts to a friend or maybe a woman you're trying to encourage (if you're writing an RJN).

You may even send texts to yourself.

Just be sure you are NOT working on your own, but you're talking to and being led by your Husband, who, after all, tells us He's the Author and finisher, right?

Next week, Week 3, we'll discuss how to easily write a ROUGH draft for each of your chapters.

Week 1 Assignment

Speak to your Husband about using your current BNN or creating a NEW Pen Name for the book you feel inspired and led to write. THEN WAIT.

Why do most of us use a Pen Name?

Use your BNN Gmail or set up a new one for this BNN or the book title. Again, speak to your Husband. THEN WAIT.

Ask Him if this book is a Restoration Journey Novel. Or Word of Their Testimony style book, like the Abundant Life Series and the book I'm writing now, Aunt Patty Cake.

INTRODUCTION

Beginning Friday, May 2nd, Erin will begin posting an assignment each week designed to help the five RJN Restoration Journey Novel WRITERS become authors and how they can easily finish their books.

Most women enjoy writing and could consider themselves "writers," but until your book is published—you're not an Author.

This is just one of MANY insights Erin will be sharing after working with her Husband for over 35 years producing:

⭐ 102 Paperbacks and eBooks
Published in 14 Languages
38 Book Titles
 ⭐

As it says on the Home page of EncouragingBookstore.com

IF you've felt inspired to write your own RJN, now is the time to sign up by commenting below, letting us know if you have already started, and any questions Erin might be able to answer.

Another NEW book option is based on how Erin is writing her new book about her sister. He pointed out it is like a WOT "Word of Their Testimony" but it's WOYT "Word of YOUR Testimony."  Erin will be sharing step-by-step how to accomplish this, working WITH HIM.

Even though Erin has never been busier, her Husband reminded her, after she agreed to commit to this seminar, His promise, “Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return” and “There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, and there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want. The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered” (P1124)

What person will you be?

Please speak to your Husband, and then let Erin know by commenting below, along with if you're hoping to write an RJN or WYT! Be sure to let us know if you're an RMIOU Student. If not, you can quickly enroll.
